Who are Chabad at La Costa, Jewish Encinitas, & Coastal Gan?
We are your Jewish home. We are the Jewish preschool for Carlsbad, Encinitas, and surrounding areas. We are a Hebrew School that inspires the children to love Judaism and learning. We conduct Torah classes for people on all levels of scholarship. We host daily, Shabbos, and holiday services filled with spirit and meaning. We host holiday programming all around town to inspire Jewish pride. We visit those who are sick. We provide challah and chicken soup and meals to those who need an infusion of Jewish love embedded in the food. We counsel. We console. We are here for you. We are your Jewish home. We are dedicated to serving our community - and now we’re asking for your support to help us build a bright Jewish future, together.
How does a Matching Campaign work?
Running Coastal Chabads requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbis and Rebbetzins work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating multiple Chabad centers can be daunting. Rather than charging mandatory membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could deter some people, we rely on the generosity of our friends and supporters. To that end, a group of generous donors, including the Estate of Arthur and Addy Hale, the Gottlieb family, the Silverstein family, the Perez family, and other matchers, have stepped forward to help Coastal Chabads thrive this year. They will match the donations that come in from you, our community. For this month only, your donation will have 2x times the impact!
