About Us

Chabad at La Costa was founded in the summer of '89 by a handful of families who wanted a Jewish Center to serve the North County Coastal Region of San Diego. Since then we have grown to THREE Jewish Centers, because of our warmth and caring attitude.

Whether one experiences a Shabbat or a holiday party, Chabad at La Costa and Coastal Chabads is THE place for EVERY Jew!

Our Mission:

To strengthen the S Diego North County Jewish Community.

We believe in providing Jewish North County with religious services on an ongoing basis. 

We believe that old and young alike deserve a Torah true Jewish Education.

We believe that old and young alike deserve accessible social programs.

We believe in providing spiritual support as needed. 

We believe in opening our doors to every Jew regardless of background, affiliation, level of observance, or level of commitment. 

We believe in working toward a goal of Jewish Unity and World Peace.
