As of this writing, we are over 90% of our goal. YOU DID THAT! THANK YOU!
Can you help put us ‘over the top’? Will you invest in your Jewish community?
We need your help to make it happen.
The important thing is that everyone makes a difference and that your generosity and support are always greatly appreciated!

FAST DAY THIS WEEK – THE 10TH OF TEVET
This Tuesday, December 30th we observe the 10th of Tevet, a fast associated with the destruction of the Holy Temple. It was on this day that Jerusalem was placed under siege by the Babylonians ultimately leading to the destruction of the Temple.
The fast begins at 5:28am and concludes at 5:20pm. The Halachic definition of fasting includes not eating or drinking for the duration.
FRIDAY NIGHT & DAILY SERVICES – WHAT A WAY TO START THE DAYS! JOIN US AND MAKE THEM STRONGER!
We offer a Weekly Friday Night service (4:30pm – 5:30pm) and a Daily Minyan, Sunday – Friday at 8:30am.
You too can join our ‘Minyanaires’ Club!
Please note that several of our regulars will be out of town this week. This doesn’t mean that we won’t be Davening together each morning at 8:30am.
BAGELS AND LOX ON SUNDAY
Bagels and Lox (the foundation of any nutritious breakfast) is now being served after services on Sunday mornings. Services begin at 8:30am – breakfast follows immediately afterwards. Rabbi Eilfort also shares some Torah thoughts to enhance the moment and enjoyment.
We thank Ben Zager for his generosity in sponsoring.
Additional sponsors are always welcome!

Captivating Cases in Rabbinic Responsa: Listen in on the surprising, practical questions your ancestors asked rabbis across Jewish history.
Join this six-session course to discover the little-known world of rabbinic responsa, a vast archive of the real-life questions of ethics and practice Jews asked across history—and the scholarly answers rabbis wrote.
Algiers is under siege: May I pray in a bathhouse? The Inquisition is watching: How will I celebrate Passover? Seventeen Jews are held hostage in faraway Regensburg after a blood libel: Must I help pay their ransom?
See what enables Jewish tradition to offer relevant guidance in a rapidly changing world—and come face-to-face with raw Jewish history.
(If you don’t know what a “rabbinic responsa” is, you’ll fit right in.)
This course will satisfy the continuing education (CLE) requirements of lawyers and other legal professionals.
(No previous Jewish learning required.)

An Important Note about Kiddushes –
The policy of the shul is to allow multiple sponsors for every Kiddush unless it is a Bar/Bat Mitzvah or something similar (like a 50th wedding anniversary etc.).
There is no such thing as an exclusive Kiddush sponsor.
This is our policy for numerous reasons, not least of which is the fact that Kiddush sponsorships help generate much-needed income for our community and encourages more people to participate.
We thank you for your support and understanding!
Soup & Challah Sponsors
Soup and Challah is being sponsored by Clive Walden & the estate of Channah Hale.
NEED MORE DRIVERS, Thank you Sharna Skjei, and Catherine Clancy for volunteering.
