END OF YEAR CAMPAIGN - WE MADE IT!
THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our end-of-year campaign and especially to those who were our matchers! Your generosity and kindness are GREATLY APPRECIATED!
We are ready to do some great things in this new secular year!
Men’s Club THIS Sunday @ 2pm
We enjoy our monthly gathering for men. We share a Torah thought and engage in energetic conversations about a variety of subjects. All men (and their viewpoints) are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
STOP THE BLEED & CPR CERTIFICATION THIS SUNDAY
We are grateful to have received a grant from the Jewish Federation for community security and safety.
With this grant, we were able to purchase the new AED that is on the back wall of the shul, and we have also purchased a Stop the Bleed and First Aid kit.
We are offering training for those who are interested in knowing how to use our new tools. Scott Illions, a Firefighter/ Paramedic and CPR, ARD, First Aid Instructor and Instructor Trainer, and member of our community, will be leading a workshop on January 4th at 3:00, following Men's Club.
If you are interested in the training workshop - WE NEED TO KNOW.
Please respond ASAP to let me know that you will be attending. I will follow up with an email.
GOING STRONG! FRIDAY NIGHT & DAILY SERVICES – WHAT A WAY TO START THE DAYS! JOIN US AND MAKE THEM STRONGER!
We offer a Weekly Friday Night service (4:30pm – 5:30pm) and a Daily Minyan, Sunday – Friday at 8:30am.
You too can join our ‘Minyanaires’ Club!
Please note that several of our regulars will be out of town this week. This doesn’t mean that we won’t be Davening together each morning at 8:30am.
BAGELS AND LOX ON SUNDAY
Bagels and Lox (the foundation of any nutritious breakfast) is now being served after services on Sunday mornings. Services begin at 8:30am – breakfast follows immediately afterwards. Rabbi Eilfort also shares some Torah thoughts to enhance the moment and enjoyment.

Captivating Cases in Rabbinic Responsa: Listen in on the surprising, practical questions your ancestors asked rabbis across Jewish history.
Join this six-session course to discover the little-known world of rabbinic responsa, a vast archive of the real-life questions of ethics and practice Jews asked across history—and the scholarly answers rabbis wrote.
Algiers is under siege: May I pray in a bathhouse? The Inquisition is watching: How will I celebrate Passover? Seventeen Jews are held hostage in faraway Regensburg after a blood libel: Must I help pay their ransom?
See what enables Jewish tradition to offer relevant guidance in a rapidly changing world—and come face-to-face with raw Jewish history.
(If you don’t know what a “rabbinic responsa” is, you’ll fit right in.)
This course will satisfy the continuing education (CLE) requirements of lawyers and other legal professionals.
(No previous Jewish learning required.)

An Important Note about Kiddushes –
The policy of the shul is to allow multiple sponsors for every Kiddush unless it is a Bar/Bat Mitzvah or something similar (like a 50th wedding anniversary etc.).
There is no such thing as an exclusive Kiddush sponsor.
This is our policy for numerous reasons, not least of which is the fact that Kiddush sponsorships help generate much-needed income for our community and encourages more people to participate.
We thank you for your support and understanding!
Soup & Challah Sponsors
